Stocksbridge Library is part of the £24.1 million Towns Fund project for Stocksbridge with plans for a brand new, modern facility.
The Towns Fund Board is working with Sheffield City Council and the library will be a key part of the new community hub which is being developed on the site. The hub will also contain offices, a pharmacy, and the new library.
During the construction phase the library will be relocated to a temporary location in the town and of course we’ll keep all library users updated as plans progress.
As part of the on-going consultation, we’d like to hear your thoughts on how you currently use the library and any suggestions you have as to what you love and value about the library now, and what could be improved in a new facility.
We’ll be announcing dates and locations for the wider consultation about all the Towns Fund projects shortly so please watch this space.
The library users consultation can be found on the citizen space link here
