Project Champion on the Board: Yuri Matischen
This project is currently paused to allow the town centre projects to be delivered in the first phase.
The project is based at the Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre which is South Yorkshire’s largest community operated and owned sporting facility. The project aims to:
• Create a sustainable, locally-owned hydrotherapy centre that provides affordable access to a range of aqua-therapy services
• The centre will provide an important resource for the whole region which improves physical and mental health and wellbeing, strengthens community cohesion and combats social exclusion
