Richard is a property management and operations expert, with over 37 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry in both the UK and Internationally.
A Chartered Surveyor, Richard is owner/director of Richard Nield Consulting Ltd, specialising in providing property management advice to investors, landlords and managing agents across the UK. He has particular expertise in the establishment and management of building operations including the tendering of services, statutory compliance and the drafting and management of service charges.
Prior to forming his consultancy, Richard held senior positions in some of the UK’s most successful firms of property advisors, including CBRE, Lambert Smith Hampton and Smith Young. For the last 15 years he was Head of Retail Operations at British Land Plc, with responsibility for delivery of class leading services across their UK retail portfolio of over 50 shopping centres and retail parks, including the Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
Richard is a Director of CP Property Management and is also a trustee of the Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation. He has lived in the area for over 35 years.
